A New Year, A New Ritual: Introducing Auric Spaces

Auric Spaces extends Mood as a Service™ into workplaces, retail and hospitality through programmable scent delivery, with clear separation between platform capability and outcomes that require client-specific measurement.

A New Year, A New Ritual: Introducing Auric Spaces

Physical environments are already programmed through lighting, temperature, sound and scheduling. Auric Spaces adds scent as another configurable layer.

Introducing Auric Spaces

Auric Spaces is Auric’s platform for delivering connected scent experiences across workplaces, retail, hospitality, learning and wellness environments.

The platform combines waterless scent delivery, software control and guided scent programs. Organisations can configure scent by space, schedule and purpose, then manage consistency across locations.

Auric calls this experience model Mood as a Service™, enabled by Scent Intelligence.

Why treat scent as infrastructure?

Scent can contribute to how a space is perceived and remembered, but responses vary by person and context. Auric therefore treats scent as a design input that can be configured, tested and measured — not as a guaranteed way to produce calm, focus, dwell time, productivity or sales.

Two ways to deploy

  • Auric Aromasphere — plug-and-play connected scent delivery for rooms, stores, meeting spaces and pilot programs.
  • Auric Atmos — HVAC-integrated scent delivery for larger and multi-zone commercial environments.

Both approaches can support signature scent programs, scheduled delivery, operational monitoring and multi-site consistency.

From homes to organisations

Auric first developed the Aromasphere for guided scent Rituals in the home. Auric Spaces applies the same connected-system thinking to organisations, with deployment models suited to individual rooms and larger environments.

Auric has documented a multi-state retail scent deployment with Telstra. The case demonstrates operational delivery across locations; any claims about customer behaviour, staff performance or commercial return require a defined measurement method and supporting results.

Where Auric Spaces can be used

  • Workplaces — project rooms, meeting spaces, quiet areas and wellbeing programs.
  • Retail and hospitality — entrances, displays, service areas, lobbies and guest spaces.
  • Learning and wellness environments — study areas, training rooms, studios and recovery spaces.

How organisations get started

  • Auric Spaces Trial — an in-environment pilot using an Aromasphere to evaluate fit, operation and user feedback.
  • Signature Scent Discovery — a guided process that maps scent across zones and aligns the program with brand, purpose and operational requirements.

Where outcomes matter, Auric works with the organisation to define what will be measured, how it will be measured and what evidence is needed before a claim is made.
